Meet our age groups
Every child develops at their own pace, and at Niebieska Przystań we make sure every stage of their preschool journey is full of joy, discoveries and success. That is why we have organised our age groups to give children the best conditions for learning and play – in line with their needs, abilities and dreams.
3–4-year-olds
Discovering the world together every day
In the Delfinki (Dolphins) group, 3- and 4-year-olds play, explore the world and learn from one another every day. Together they take part in active, musical, art and sensory games, spend time outdoors, listen to stories, sing, experiment and have contact with English every day.
Playing, talking, eating and doing everyday activities together create a natural environment for learning cooperation, communication and independence. With children of different ages in the group, younger ones are inspired by older ones, while older ones develop responsibility, empathy and the ability to support others.
Although the children spend much of the day together, learning tasks and activities are adapted to each child’s age and individual abilities.
Together, 3- and 4-year-olds take part in:

3-year-olds
first steps in the world of relationships
For the youngest preschoolers every day is a new adventure. In this group children learn how to share toys, make their first friends and express their emotions. Through active, musical and sensory games they develop motor skills and basic language skills. This is where they discover that preschool is a warm place where they can always count on a teacher’s support and smile.
Extra activities for 3-year-olds:

💧 Sensory play with water, sand, plasticine and modelling dough.
🧪 Simple sensory experiments (colours, scents, sounds).

4-year-olds
little explorers
Every day brings new discoveries, questions and experiences. Through play together, experiments, creative activities and daily contact with English, children develop independence, creativity and the ability to cooperate. We encourage them to explore the world with all their senses, look for their own solutions and enjoy discovering. We believe that everyday curiosity about the world builds self-confidence and prepares children for the next stages of their education.
4-year-olds also take part in:

🎨 Art with Textures – exploring different textures and materials.
🖌️ Sensory art and Little Creators sessions.
🏃 Sports sessions and sensory obstacle courses.

5–6-year-olds
curiously heading towards school
Children in this group are gradually getting ready for school, and we help them do it in a natural and joyful way. The programme includes more advanced learning activities – developing maths, language and thinking skills. It is also a time for learning independence, responsibility and teamwork. We help preschoolers manage their time, think logically and find solutions that will help them settle into school.
Every day the children take part in:

😌 Moments of relaxation, calm and story therapy.
📖 Story Time and activities that develop understanding of texts and vocabulary in English.
🎶 Afternoon music-and-movement and group games.
The programme for 5–6-year-olds supports the skills children need at school and in everyday life. Children learn cooperation, independence, logical thinking, communication and responsibility, while keeping the joy of discovering and learning through play.
Each age group develops at its own pace, and every day children discover the world through play, shared experiences and daily contact with English.
Our little explorers develop independence, creativity and self-confidence, taking ever more confident steps towards the future.
